Biological Projects

We explore nanoscale cellular structures using a suite of super-resolution techniques. With these cutting-edge imaging approaches, we examine the structure and dynamics of the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus. We are interested in proteins that support and establish structures in cellular membranes, as well as characterizing the biophysics and topology of those membranes in both live and fixed cells. These technologies allow us to resolve exciting novel structures and measure their features with unprecedented resolution.
