Research Scientist

Lin is a research scientist in the lab and splits his time between our lab and 3 others at the Yale School of Medicine. He obtained his PhD at UCSF working with John Sedat, David Agard, and Mats Gustafsson on structured-illumination microscopy, a type of resolution-doubling technique. He went on to work with Eric Betzig at Janelia and contributed to the development of the lattice light-sheet microscope. In this lab, he mainly helps with various microscopy-related projects using his skillset in imaging, image analysis, and programming.
